Haryana Polytechnic Diploma Admission 2026-27: Apply Now

1. Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP ID) — Mandatory for all Haryana Resident candidates. All personal details (name, DOB, category, income etc.) will be auto-fetched and will be non-editable.
2. DMC / Mark Sheet of Qualifying Examination (10th / 12th / ITI as applicable) — Upload in PDF format.
3. Sub-category / Special Category certificates (if applicable):
   • ESM / Freedom Fighters certificate
   • Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate
   • Kashmiri Migrants (KM) certificate from Relief Commissioner
   • Shivalik Development Board (SDB) resident certificate
   • Mewat Area Resident (MAR) certificate
   • HGST certificate from Principal/Headmaster of Govt. School
4. Income and Asset Certificate for EWS category (issued by Tehsildar) — as per Annexure-XX.
5. Coloured Photograph — JPG/JPEG format, Max 30 KB size.
6. Signature — JPG/JPEG format, Max 20 KB size.

Note: Haryana Resident candidates whose details are fetched via PPP ID do not need to separately upload income, DOB, or category certificates. Only sub-category and special category documents need to be uploaded. Non-Haryana candidates must upload all documents manually.

1. System-generated provisional seat allotment letter (printed from website)
2. Original + 2 sets of self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets
3. PPP ID along with registered mobile number (for OTP verification at institute)
4. Proof of Date of Birth
5. Category / Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
6. Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed by a Govt./Registered MBBS Doctor (Annexure-XIV)
7. Anti-Ragging Undertaking by Student (Annexure-XVIII)
8. Anti-Ragging Undertaking by Parent/Guardian (Annexure-XIX)
9. EWS Income and Asset Certificate, if applicable (Annexure-XX)
10. ESM / FF / KM / SDB / MAR / HGST sub-category certificate (if applicable)
11. In case of Kashmiri Migrants: Original Migration Certificate signed by Relief Commissioner
12. 2 latest coloured photographs

Note: Originals will be verified and returned. Institutes cannot retain original certificates under any circumstances. 2 sets of attested photocopies will be kept by the institute for registration purposes.

Step 2: Keep Documents Ready
Scan your photograph (JPG, Max 30KB) and signature (JPG, Max 20KB) and keep PDF copies of all qualifying examination DMCs and category certificates ready.

Step 3: Visit the Official Portal
Go to www.techadmissionshry.gov.in and click on the Online Registration link for your course (Diploma Engg. / Lateral Entry / Pharmacy).

Step 4: Online Registration
Register on the portal by entering your PPP ID (for Haryana residents) or by manually entering your personal details. Note down your Unique Application Number and Password carefully.

Step 5: Fill the Application Form
Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and choose the course and special categories (HGST / KM / MAR / SDB / TFW / EWS) as applicable.

Step 6: Upload Documents
Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and PDF copies of all required documents (DMC, category certificates etc.) as per specifications.

Step 7: Pay Registration Fee Online
Pay the registration fee (₹1000 for General / ₹700 for Reserved categories) through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Step 8: Download & Save Confirmation
Save and print the completed application form along with the payment receipt for future reference. Note your Unique Application Number for all future correspondence.

Step 9: Document Verification at Designated Center
Visit your selected Designated Center (list at Appendix-II) within the verification window to get your online application form verified and confirmed. Haryana residents with PPP-verified data may be exempted from physical verification.

Step 10: Fill Choices for Counselling
After the Merit List is published, log in using your Application Number and Password and fill your institute/branch preferences in order of priority. Lock your choices before the deadline.

Step 11: Check Seat Allotment & Report at Institute
Check your allotted seat on the website after the result is declared. Report at the allotted institute within the reporting window with all original documents and deposit the semester fee.

Q2. What is the minimum educational qualification for Diploma Engineering admission?
⇒ Candidates must have passed Class 10th / SSC Examination from any Board recognized by the Government. There is no minimum percentage required — admission is purely merit-based.

Q3. Is PPP ID mandatory for applying?
⇒ Yes. PPP ID (Parivar Pehchan Patra) is mandatory for all Haryana Resident candidates. Details like name, DOB, category, income etc. will be automatically fetched from PPP ID and will be non-editable. Candidates must update and verify their PPP ID before applying.

Q4. What is the registration fee and is it refundable?
⇒ The registration fee is ₹1000 for General Category and ₹700 for all Reserved Categories of Haryana (SC/SCD/BC/PH/FF/ESM/EWS/KM/HGST/Girls). The fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Q5. Can I apply from outside Haryana?
⇒ Yes. 15% of sanctioned intake in each institution is reserved for the All India Category (AIC), which is open to candidates from all states. However, the remaining 85% (State Quota) is for Haryana residents only.

Q6. What is the Lateral Entry route for Diploma Engineering?
⇒ Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Science/Technical subjects, or completed 10th + 2-Year ITI in a relevant trade, or those who have a 3-Year Diploma in any branch, are eligible for direct admission to the 2nd Year of Diploma Engineering through the Lateral Entry route.

Q7. What is the eligibility for Diploma in Pharmacy?
⇒ Candidates must have passed 10+2 (PCM or PCB — Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) from Board of School Education Haryana or any recognized Board/University. Admission is based on merit in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English combined.

Q8. How are ties broken in the merit list?
⇒ For Diploma Engineering, ties are resolved in order: marks in Maths → Science → English → Date of Birth (elder preferred) → Alphabetical order by candidate’s name → Father’s name → Mother’s name (all as per the Matriculation certificate).

Q9. Is there any tuition fee for girls admitted in Government Polytechnics?
⇒ No. Girls admitted in Government and Government Aided Polytechnics of Haryana are not charged any tuition fees.

Q10. Can I change my branch after admission?
⇒ No. Internal branch change (sliding) is not permitted during or after the admission process. If a candidate wants to change their branch, they must participate in subsequent rounds of online counselling (if available) before the final cut-off date.

Q11. What is the fee refund policy if I cancel my admission?
⇒ As per AICTE guidelines, if a student withdraws before the course starts, the full fee minus a processing charge of not more than ₹1000 will be refunded. The last date for fee refund is 31 July 2026 (subject to change by AICTE). Fee refund must be completed within 7 days by the institute.

Q12. How many counselling rounds will be conducted?
⇒ Two Online Off-Campus Counselling rounds will be conducted for all courses. After the 2nd round, institutes conduct Institute Level Manual Counselling for remaining vacant seats.
