Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a short notification for School Teacher TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026 on its official website. According to the notice, approximately 44,000+ teaching vacancies will be filled for Primary, Middle, Secondary, and Higher Secondary Schools in Bihar.

🎓 BPSC TRE 4.0 Teacher Eligibility Criteria
Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
- Bachelor Degree with 50% Marks and B.Ed
- Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- 10+2 with 50% Marks and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
- 10+2 with 50% Marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed Degree
- Master Degree with 55% Marks and B.Ed–M.Ed (3 Year Course)
- CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I must be qualified.
Middle School Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
- Graduate with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Graduate/Post Graduate with 50% Marks and B.Ed
- Graduate with BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed
- Post Graduate with 55% Marks and B.Ed–M.Ed (3 Year Course)
Secondary Teacher (TGT) – Class 9 to 10
- Graduate / Post Graduate in related subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed
- Graduate / Post Graduate with 45% Marks (as per 2002 norms) and B.Ed
- 4-Year BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed Degree
- STET Paper I must be qualified.
Senior Secondary Teacher (PGT) – Class 11 to 12
- Post Graduate in related subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed
- Post Graduate with 45% Marks (2002 norms) and B.Ed
- 4-Year BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed Degree
- Master Degree with 55% Marks and B.Ed–M.Ed (3 Year Course)
- STET Paper II must be qualified.
