Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have officially released the RRB Ministerial & Isolated Category Recruitment 2026 Notification under CEN 08/2025 for a total of 312 posts. The online application process started on 30 December 2025 and eligible candidates can apply online till 29 January 2026 through the official RRB website.

⚠️ Important Age-Related Rules

  • No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates applying against UR vacancies.
  • PwBD candidates applying under UR category will get UR-PwBD age relaxation only, subject to suitability.
  • If eligible under multiple relaxation categories, only the maximum permissible relaxation will be granted.
  • The Date of Birth entered in the application form must match the Matriculation/SSLC certificate.
  • No change in DOB will be allowed after submission. Any mismatch will result in disqualification.

How to Apply Online for RRB Ministerial & Isolated Category Recruitment 2026

Step 1: Read the Official Notification. Candidates must carefully read the detailed CEN before filling the online application to avoid mistakes.

Step 2: Create an Account using the official RRB website link. Candidates with an existing account from previous RRB CENs can use the same login credentials. A valid mobile number & email ID are mandatory for OTP verification. No changes are allowed later for account details. Identity authentication via DigiLocker or Aadhaar is recommended for smoother verification.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application only via the official RRB website link. Enter all information carefully; no changes are allowed after submission. Medium of Examination: Choose from English, Hindi, or 13 regional languages. Zone Preference: Enter the order of preferred RRB zones. Single application only: Multiple applications will lead to disqualification. After submission, choose the mode of fee payment and complete it online. Application is accepted only after fee confirmation via SMS/Email.

Step 4: Capture Live Photograph. No pre-existing photo is required. Photo is captured live via webcam/mobile. Dress code: Non-white clothing for contrast. Instructions: Face straight, neutral expression, eyes visible, no cap/mask/glasses. Photo must match candidate’s appearance throughout recruitment. PwBD candidates may follow alternate procedures if needed.

Step 5: Upload Mandatory Documents. Signature: Scanned in JPG/JPEG format (30–49 KB, 140×60 px, black ink, running handwriting). SC/ST Certificate: PDF format (<400 KB) for candidates requesting free train travel pass. ⚠ Applications may be rejected for incorrect or unclear documents.

Step 6: Scribe Assistance (For PwBD Candidates). Eligibility: Blindness, Cerebral Palsy, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms), or as per medical certificate. Candidate must opt for scribe in application and arrange at own cost. Scribe must register on RRB portal and obtain an OTR number. Conditions: One scribe per candidate, scribe’s education one step below candidate, impersonation leads to disqualification.

Step 7: Modification of Submitted Application is allowed only after paying Rs.250 per modification. Details that cannot be changed: Account information & chosen RRB. Modification window: 01/02/2026 – 10/02/2026. Verify all details carefully before the deadline.
