Eligibility Criteria — PNB Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026

⇒ Nationality: Indian Citizens, Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan Refugees (before 01 Jan 1962), or Persons of Indian Origin from specified countries — with a valid Government of India eligibility certificate where applicable.
⇒ Educational Qualification (Mandatory for all posts):

  • Civil Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
  • Electrical Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
  • Mechanical Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.

⇒ Post-Qualification Work Experience (Mandatory for all posts):

  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in the relevant engineering field (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) as on the closing date of registration (05 May 2026).
  • Experience in construction, renovation, retrofitting, interior furnishing, or maintenance of commercial / residential / institutional / industrial / administrative buildings.
  • For Electrical & Mechanical posts: Additional experience in installation / maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment such as UPS, generators, control panels, HT-LT switchgear, air-conditioning equipment, lifts, etc. is also acceptable.

⇒ Important on CGPA / Grading System:

  • If your university awards CGPA / OGPA or any other grade, convert it into percentage as per university norms and indicate it in the application form.
  • A conversion certificate issued by the university must be produced at the interview stage.

⇒ Rounding Off Rule:

  • 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and will NOT be considered eligible.

⇒ Result Declaration:

  • The qualifying degree result must be declared on or before 05 May 2026.

  • Negative Marking: ¼ mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Bond / Service Agreement

⇒ Bond Period: 3 Years of active service from the date of joining
⇒ Penalty for Early Exit: If a selected candidate leaves the Bank before completing 3 years of active service, they must pay a penalty of ₹3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Only) to the Bank.
⇒ CIBIL Score Requirement: A minimum CIBIL score of 681 or above is required at the time of joining. Candidates with no bank account are exempt from this requirement. CIBIL score is NOT a pre-condition for applying.
