Eligibility Criteria – J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026

⇒ Nationality: Indian Citizens Only
⇒ Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation from a recognized University / Institute
  • Candidates must have passed their Graduation on or after 01 January 2022
  • Only Graduates are eligible to apply under NATS
  • Candidates must be proficient in the local/official language of the respective region/area and must have studied the local/official language as a subject in Class 10th or 12th

  • Minimum: 20 Years | Maximum: 28 Years
  • Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government guidelines

⇒ NATS Portal Registration:

  • Candidates must register on the NATS Apprenticeship Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in before applying
  • Candidate’s Mobile, Aadhaar, and Bank Account must be inter-linked and DBT must be enabled in their Bank Account
  • Profile on NATS Portal must be 100% complete

  • Those who have already undergone Apprenticeship in J&K Bank or any other organization earlier
  • Those currently pursuing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961

How to Apply – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Register on NATS Apprenticeship Portal
Visit https://nats.education.gov.in and complete your registration. Ensure your profile is 100% complete. Note down the Enrolment Number generated. Make sure your Mobile, Aadhaar, and Bank Account are inter-linked and DBT is enabled in your Bank Account.
Step 2: Prepare and Scan DocumentsScan your recent passport-size photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature (black ink on white paper), left thumb impression (black/blue ink on white paper), and handwritten declaration in English (black ink). Ensure all files meet the prescribed format, size, and dimension specifications.

Step 3: Visit Official J&K Bank Website
Go to https://www.jkb.bank.in and click on the “Careers” tab. Find the link for “Engagement of Apprentices” and click to open the application portal.

Step 4: New Registration
Click on “Click here for New Registration”. Enter your Name, Contact Details, and Email ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated — note these down carefully. You will also receive them via Email and SMS.

Step 5: Fill the Application Form
Log in using your Provisional Registration Number and Password. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, district/area preference, and other required information. Use “SAVE AND NEXT” to save your progress.

Step 6: Upload Documents
Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the prescribed specifications. Verify that all uploads are clear and correctly placed.

Step 7: Preview & Verify
Click on the “Preview” tab to review the entire application form. Verify all details carefully — no changes will be possible after final submission.

Step 8: Complete Registration
Click on “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” only after confirming all details are correct.

Step 9: Pay Application Fee
Click on the “Payment” tab and pay the applicable fee — ₹700 (Unreserved) or ₹500 (Reserved categories) — through online mode. Wait for the confirmation from the server. Do NOT press Back or Refresh to avoid double charges.

Step 10: Save E-Receipt & Application Printout
After successful payment, an e-Receipt will be generated. Download and print the e-Receipt and application form containing fee details for use during Document Verification if shortlisted.
