Stage 2 — Field Trials
Shortlisted candidates are called to a designated venue for Field Trials to assess their actual sporting ability. The evaluation parameters and qualifying cut-off for Field Trials are determined solely at the Bank’s discretion. No request for change of Field Trial venue, date, or time will be entertained.

Stage 3 — Document Verification
Original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced at the time of Field Trials. Failure to produce required documents will result in disqualification.

Stage 4 — Final Selection
Final selection is based on the overall assessment of eligibility, sports performance, and other factors as determined by the Bank. The Bank’s decision at all stages is final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained from non-selected candidates.

Other Conditions: Selected candidates must be Active Sportspersons at the time of joining and must be physically fit to participate in tournaments. They will be required to play for the Bank’s team whenever and wherever necessary, and must give a written undertaking to this effect at the time of appointment.

5. Sports Qualification Certificates / Awards / Medals from authorized authorities
6. All semester/year-wise Mark Sheets & Certificates for educational qualifications including final degree/diploma
7. Caste Certificate (SC / ST / OBC) in Government-prescribed format (if applicable)
8. OBC candidates: certificate must contain the Non-Creamy Layer clause, valid within 1 year as on the date of advertisement
9. Ex-serviceman: Service or Discharge Book + Pension Payment Order + Proof of rank held
10. Government / PSU employees: No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer — mandatory, failing which candidature will not be considered
11. Work experience documents — appointment letter, salary slip, relieving letter (wherever applicable)
12. Any other relevant supporting documents as required by the Bank

Important: All documents must be produced in original along with self-attested photocopies. Candidates who fail to produce required documents at the Field Trial stage will be disqualified from further participation. Candidates who have changed their name must produce original Gazette Notification / Marriage Certificate / Affidavit.

Step 2: Prepare Scanned Documents
Keep ready: scanned photograph (200×230 px, 20–50 KB), signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB), and all required PDF documents (resume, DOB proof, educational certificates, sports certificates, caste/category certificate if applicable). All PDFs must be A4 size, below 500 KB.

Step 3: Visit Official Website
Go to www.bankofbaroda.bank.in → Career section / web page → Current Opportunities. Find the notification for “Recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons in Clerical Cadre”.

Step 4: Register Online
Click on the Apply Online link. Register with your valid personal email ID and active mobile number. Ensure these remain active until the entire recruitment process is complete.

Step 5: Fill Online Application Form
Fill in personal, educational, sports, and employment details carefully. Ensure your name matches exactly as it appears in your certificates. No changes will be permitted after clicking SUBMIT.

Step 6: Upload Documents
Upload your photograph, signature, and all supporting PDF documents using the separate upload links provided. Preview each upload to verify clarity and correctness before final submission. Once uploaded, documents cannot be edited.

Step 7: Verify and Preview
Before submitting, thoroughly review all entered details. Any discrepancy in name, date of birth, category, or contact details cannot be corrected after submission.

Step 8: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the non-refundable fee (₹850 for General/EWS/OBC; ₹175 for SC/ST/Women/ESM/DESM) through the integrated payment gateway using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI. Do not make multiple payments.

Step 9: Save Confirmation & Printout
On successful payment, an e-receipt and filled application form will be generated. Download and print this for future reference. Note down your acknowledgement number carefully.

Step 10: Watch for Field Trial Intimation
After the application window closes, the Bank will shortlist candidates and send Field Trial call letters exclusively via the registered email ID. Regularly monitor your email and the official Bank website for updates.

Q2. What is the total number of vacancies and which sports are included?
⇒ There are 30 vacancies in total — across Cricket (Delhi & Mumbai), Kabaddi (Mumbai), Table Tennis (Chennai & Mumbai), and Football (Mumbai).

Q4. Is there any reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates?
⇒ No. There is NO reservation in posts for SC/ST/OBC/EWS in this recruitment. However, age relaxation is available to these categories as per DOPT guidelines (SC/ST: 10 years total; OBC: 8 years total; General/EWS: 5 years total).

Q5. Can women candidates apply for this recruitment?
⇒ Yes. Female candidates are eligible and there are dedicated vacancies — 5 for Kabaddi (Mumbai) and 1 for Table Tennis (Mumbai). Women candidates also pay a reduced application fee of ₹175/-.

Q6. What sports certificates are accepted, and who should issue them?
⇒ Certificates must be issued by prescribed authorities only — such as the Secretary of the National Federation (for International/National competitions), Dean of Sports (for Inter-University tournaments), or an SAI-designated officer (for Khelo India games). Certificates from unauthorized sources will not be accepted.

Q7. Can I apply for a sport that is not listed in the advertisement?
⇒ No. Only the sports listed in the notification — Cricket, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, and Football — are eligible for this particular recruitment.

Q8. What is the minimum CIBIL score required to join Bank of Baroda?
⇒ A minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above is mandatory at the time of joining. Candidates with loan defaults or adverse credit history will be deemed ineligible.

Q9. Can I submit more than one application?
⇒ No. Only one application per candidate is allowed. If multiple applications are submitted, only the latest valid and complete application will be retained, and fees paid for earlier registrations will be forfeited.

Q10. Will selected sportspersons be required to play for the Bank?
⇒ Yes. Recruited sportspersons must play for the Bank’s team whenever and wherever required. To participate in State / National / International events, they must seek prior permission from the Bank. Refusal to play or failure to obtain permission will be treated as misconduct.
