Eligibility Criteria — Essential Qualifications (Post-wise)
All posts are in CBSE-affiliated Government Schools in Himachal Pradesh. The essential qualifications for each post are as under. A relaxation of up to 5% in minimum marks is available to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates of HP. All candidates must also have proficiency in Hindi and English.

⇒ Syllabus — Part II:
- (a) General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh and Current Affairs.
- (b) Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English and General Hindi — of Matriculation (10th) standard.
⇒ Score Normalization: If the CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, scores will be normalized using the Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method) to prepare the merit list.
⇒ Answer Key Objections: A provisional answer key will be uploaded after the exam. Candidates may raise objections within 7 days by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per challenge. Objections will be vetted by an expert panel and the final result will be based on the revised answer key.
⇒ No Rechecking: No request for rechecking or re-evaluation of answer scripts will be entertained.
