CSIR-CCMB Recruitment 2026 Apply Online for 28 Technician, Driver & Technical Officer Posts

15. Latest valid Caste/Category certificate in prescribed GoI format (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
16. Experience certificates with all mandatory details as per Annexure-IX format
17. OBC (NCL) Form of Declaration (Annexure-V), if applicable
18. Court judgement/decree for widows/divorced women + affidavit (if applicable)
19. Original NOC from employer for candidates currently in regular government/CSIR service (Annexure-I)
20. Age concession certificate for departmental candidates seeking age relaxation (Annexure-II)
21. PwBD certificate in prescribed format (Annexure-VII A/B/C), if applicable
22. Ex-Serviceman certificate for age relaxation / fee exemption (Annexure-VIII), if applicable
23. Order/letter supporting equivalent qualification claim, if any

Critical Note: Offer letters, appointment letters, pay slips, unsigned experience certificates, self-employment certificates, or PPO will NOT be accepted as valid proof of experience. Experience certificates must clearly mention designation, start/end dates, pay scale/level, and nature of duties performed.

Step 2: Visit the Official CSIR-CCMB Website
Go to https://www.ccmb.res.in and navigate to the Recruitment section. Online applications are available from 28.04.2026 (11:00 AM) to 26.05.2026 (11:59 PM).

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form
Enter all required personal, educational, experience, and category details carefully. Attach photograph and signature as required. For CGPA-based results, convert to percentage as per university formula and mention it in the form.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
Pay ₹500/- (wherever applicable) through State Bank Collect (SBI Collect) online. Note the Transaction Number / UTR Number generated after payment — this must be entered in the application form. Upload the e-receipt.

Step 5: Submit the Online Application
Review all entered data carefully. Submit the form and note down the Application Number for future correspondence.

Step 6: Take Printout
Download and print the computer-generated application form. Sign it manually.

Step 7: Prepare the Hard Copy Envelope
Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents (as listed above) along with the signed application printout and recent passport-size photograph. Superscribe the envelope as: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______ (Post Code: _______)”

Step 8: Dispatch the Hard Copy by Post
Send the complete hard copy package BY POST ONLY (hand submission not accepted) to reach the following address on or before 05.06.2026 by 06:00 PM:

Important: Applications without a hard copy will be summarily rejected. Separate applications must be submitted for each post code. Application fee is non-refundable.

Q2. How many total posts are available across both advertisements?
⇒ A combined total of 28 posts are available — 23 Technician posts, 1 Driver post (Advt. 03/2026), and 4 Technical Officer posts (Advt. 04/2026).

Q3. Can I apply for multiple post codes?
⇒ Yes, a candidate can apply for multiple post codes provided they meet the eligibility criteria for each. However, a separate application form and separate application fee must be submitted for each post code, and separate hard copies must be sent individually.

Q4. Is there negative marking in the competitive written examination?
⇒ Paper-I (Mental Ability Test) carries no negative marking. Paper-II and Paper-III carry 1 mark negative for each wrong answer.

Q5. Will my online application alone be considered?
⇒ No. Online applications without the corresponding hard copy will be summarily rejected. The hard copy, along with self-attested documents, must be sent by post only.

Q6. What is the minimum educational qualification required for the Technician posts?
⇒ SSC / 10th Standard with Science subjects and a minimum of 55% marks, along with an ITI certificate OR 2 years of apprentice trainee experience OR 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade.

Q7. What qualification is required for the Technical Officer post?
⇒ An M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration or Hospitality Management with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university.

Q8. Will part-time or daily-wage experience be counted toward eligibility?
⇒ No. Experience rendered on a part-time basis, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty basis will NOT be counted for eligibility or shortlisting purposes.

Q9. What is the application fee, and who is exempt?
⇒ The application fee is ₹500/- for UR, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates. Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are fully exempt from payment of fee.

Q10. Where will I get updates about exam dates and corrigendum?
⇒ All updates including exam schedule, venue, addendum, and corrigendum will be posted ONLY on the official CSIR-CCMB website: https://www.ccmb.res.in. No individual intimation will be sent by post or email.
