Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the official notification for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026. Candidates who want to become teachers in Jharkhand can apply for this eligibility test.
The online application process will start from 21 April 2026 and the last date to apply is 21 May 2026. Candidates are advised to check all details carefully before applying.

🎓 JHTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (Class 1–5)
- 10+2 with 50% marks and D.El.Ed / BTC
- 10+2 with 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) with Diploma in Education
- 10+2 with 50% marks + B.El.Ed (4 Years)
- Graduation + Diploma in Elementary Education
- Diploma in Special Education (relevant field)
Junior Level (Class 6–8)
- Bachelor Degree + D.El.Ed / BTC
- Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed / L.T / Shiksha Shastri
- Graduation with 45% marks + B.Ed (as per norms)
- 10+2 with 50% marks + B.El.Ed / BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed
- Master Degree with 55% marks + B.Ed-M.Ed
- B.Ed Special Education
