This is a golden opportunity for eligible engineering diploma/degree holders and ITI-qualified electricians to secure a prestigious job in one of India’s leading public sector coal companies. Eligibility Criteria — MCL Recruitment 2026
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3-year course) approved by AICTE, OR
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering approved by AICTE
⇒ Post 2: Technician (Electrician) (Trainee), Cat-III (E&M)
- Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board of Examination, AND
- ITI (2-year course) in Electrician Trade with Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT, AND
- Minimum 1 year training / on-the-job practical experience, AND
- LT Permit under IE Rules for Mines or 440–550 Volts mining parts permit issued by a Competent Authority

Career Growth & Training Details
- Further career growth to T&S Gr-B and beyond will be subject to acquisition of an Electrical Supervisorship Certificate of Competency valid for Mines as per the Cadre Scheme
⇒ For Technician (Electrician) (Trainee), Cat-III (E&M):
- Trainees in Cat-III will be regularized as Electrician, Cat-IV after successful completion of one year of training in E&M cadre and possession of a valid minimum requisite Electrician Statutory permit/certificate
⇒ Medical Fitness (Health Standard):
- Appointment will be provisional and subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the standards prescribed by the Company
- Selected candidates must undergo Initial Medical Examination (IME) at a designated Company hospital
- Minimum required height: 60 inches as per MAR (Medical Attendance Rules), except for Asst. Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) candidates with Dw (Dwarfism) disability
- Candidates found UNFIT medically will be disqualified from employment
