Railway SECR Raipur Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

1. Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be drawn by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by candidates in both Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI examinations, giving equal weightage to both as per Railway Establishment Rule 201/2017.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates and documents.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates may be required to produce a medical fitness certificate at the time of document verification. The certificate must be issued by a Government Authorized Doctor (GAZ), not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a Central/State Hospital, as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
4. Contract of Apprenticeship: Finally selected candidates (or their guardian, if minor) must enter into a formal contract of apprenticeship with the employer before commencing training.

Important: There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection is entirely merit-based on academic records.

1. 10th class (Matriculation) certificate and mark sheet (original + attested copy)
2. ITI certificate and mark sheet in the relevant trade (original + attested copy)
3. Caste certificate in Central Government format (for SC/ST candidates) — as per Annexure-B
4. OBC caste certificate along with Non-Creamy Layer certificate in Central Government format — as per Annexure-C (should not be older than one year from the date of closure of the notification)
5. EWS certificate as per Annexure-E
6. PwBD disability certificate issued by a competent Medical Board — minimum 40% disability — as per Annexure-G
7. Medical fitness certificate in prescribed format (signed by a GAZ doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a Central/State Hospital)
8. Recent passport-size photograph (scanned copy to be uploaded online)
9. Scanned signature
10. Aadhaar card (verified on the portal)

Note: Failure to produce original testimonials or any discrepancy noticed during document verification will result in cancellation of candidature.

Step 2: Register / Login
New candidates should register on the portal. Existing users can log in with their credentials.

Step 3: Search for SECR Raipur Vacancy
Search for the SECR Raipur Division notification (Estt. No. E05202200048) or Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur (Estt. No. E11152200001) on the portal.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form
Enter your personal details, educational qualifications (10th and ITI marks), trade preference, and other required information carefully.

Step 5: Upload Documents
Upload a scanned passport-size colour photograph and scanned signature along with all required educational and technical qualification documents.

Step 6: Verify Caste/Category Details
If belonging to SC/ST/OBC, upload a recent caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Also verify your Aadhaar on the portal.

Step 7: Preview and Submit
Carefully review all filled-in details before final submission. Ensure all uploaded documents are legible.

Q3. What is the educational qualification required to apply?
⇒ Candidates must have passed their 10th class examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and must have completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.

Q4. Is there a written examination for this recruitment?

Q7. What will be the duration of the apprenticeship training?
⇒ The apprenticeship training period is 1 year for each designated trade. A monthly stipend will be paid as per Railway Board rules during this period.

Q8. Will I get a permanent job in Railways after completing the apprenticeship?
⇒ No. It is not obligatory for the employer (SECR) to offer permanent employment after training, nor is it mandatory for apprentices to accept any offer made by the employer. The training will be terminated upon completion of the apprenticeship period.
