Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT)
The selection methodology is entirely merit-based and consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT) only. Personal Interviews have been discontinued as per Coal India Limited’s circular.

Pay Scale and Benefits
All three posts carry an identical Basic Pay of ₹47,330.25 per month under the T&S Grade-C pay structure. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates are entitled to several allowances as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA):

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum Qualification Required
(A) Mining Sirdar T&S Grade-C
Candidates must fulfill ALL of the following:
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent OR a 3-year Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering
- Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency (Un-Restricted)
- Valid Gas Testing Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
(B) Deputy Surveyor T&S Grade-C (Mining)
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or Degree/Diploma in Mining / Mine Surveying Engineering
- Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (SCC)
(C) Assistant Foreman (Electrical) T&S Grade-C
- Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
- Diploma (minimum 3-year course) in Electrical Engineering
