UPSSSC Platoon Commander & Block Organizer Recruitment 2026

1. PET-2025 Registration Number and valid Score Card
2. High School (Class 10) Marksheet or Certificate (for date of birth proof — only this is accepted)
3. Graduation Degree / Final Marksheet from a recognized university
4. Valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
5. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (issued by competent authority, valid up to advertisement date)
6. EWS Income & Asset Certificate (based on FY 2025-26 income, valid for FY 2026-27)
7. UP Domicile / Residence Certificate
8. Ex-Serviceman or Freedom Fighter Dependent Certificate (if applicable, in prescribed format)
9. NCC ‘B’ Certificate or Territorial Army Service Certificate (if claiming preference)
10. Home Guards Continuous Service Certificate (minimum 3 years, if claiming age relaxation)
11. PwD / Disability Certificate (in prescribed Form — I, II, III, or IV, as applicable)
12. Outstanding Sportsperson Certificate (issued by competent authority as per prescribed format)
13. No Objection Certificate (NOC) (for candidates currently in Central/State Government service)

Note: All documents must be valid and issued by the competent authority as specified in the official notification.

Step 2: Visit the Official Website
Go to https://upsssc.gov.in and navigate to the “Live Advertisement Segment” on the homepage.

Step 3: Read the Official Notification
Click on Advertisement No. 10-Exam/2026. Download and carefully read the full notification before filling the form.

Step 4: Login via PET-2025 Registration Number
Click on the Applicant Segment login option. Enter your PET-2025 Registration Number and authenticate using the OTP sent to your registered mobile/email.

Step 5: Verify Pre-filled Details
Your personal details from PET-2025 (name, DOB, category, photo, signature) will appear automatically. Verify all information carefully.

Step 6: Select Post(s) & Enter Academic Details
Choose the post(s) you wish to apply for. Enter board/university name, passing year, roll number, certificate number, and mark details. Indicate Yes/No for educational eligibility for each post.

Step 7: Fill Other Details
Enter post/department preferences, additional eligibility information, and details for any special category claims (NCC, Territorial Army, Home Guards, etc.).

Step 8: Review Photo & Signature
Verify the pre-loaded photo and signature from PET-2025. These cannot be changed. Click “Continue” to proceed.

Step 9: Complete the Declaration
Read the declaration carefully. Select all applicable checkboxes and enter the verification/CAPTCHA code shown on screen.

Step 10: Submit & Pay Fee
Click “Save and Submit”. Pay the processing fee of ₹25 via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan.

Step 11: Download & Print Application Form
After successful payment and auto-submission, immediately download and print your application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Step 12: Fee Reconciliation (If Needed)
If payment is pending or failed, use the “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification” option in the Applicant Segment to complete reconciliation before 13 July 2026.

Q2. What is the last date to apply?
⇒ The last date for online application and fee payment is 06 July 2026. Application amendments and fee reconciliation can be done until 13 July 2026.

Q3. What is the total number of vacancies?
⇒ There are 295 permanent vacancies in total — 243 for Block Organizer and 52 for Platoon Commander — under Home Guards HQ, UP, Lucknow.

Q4. Is there negative marking in the written examination?
⇒ Yes. 0.25 marks (¼ mark) are deducted for every wrong answer. No penalty is applied for unattempted questions.

Q5. Are the physical tests part of the merit or just qualifying?
⇒ Both the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test (running) are qualifying in nature only. Final merit is based solely on written examination marks.

Q6. Can I modify my application after submission?
⇒ Yes. Modifications are permitted until 13 July 2026. Permitted changes include postal address, personal details, EWS/horizontal category, and marital status. No other changes are allowed.

Q7. What document is accepted as proof of date of birth?
⇒ Only the High School (Class 10) marksheet or certificate is accepted as date of birth proof. No other document will be entertained for this purpose.

Q8. What is the application fee for this recruitment?
⇒ The application fee is ₹0 (nil) for all categories. All candidates must pay an online processing fee of ₹25 — making the total payable amount ₹25 only.

Q9. Can candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh apply?
⇒ Yes, they can apply. However, candidates who are not domicile residents of Uttar Pradesh will be treated as Unreserved (General) category and will not receive any reservation benefits.

Q10. What happens if my fee payment fails?
⇒ If payment fails, use the “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification” option on the official website, then proceed through the “Application Fee Deposition” option to complete the process before the deadline.
